What the app is, why we built it, and the community we are building it for.
Modol Connect is a mobile social platform for Android. It combines the things people use every day — private and group messaging, audio and video calling, a post feed and short-form reels — into one lightweight application with a consistent, uncluttered interface.
You register with a phone number or an email address, confirm a one-time password, build a profile, and start connecting. There is no long onboarding, no forced imports and no walls of settings to configure before you can send your first message.
Why we built itConversations are split across too many services. One app for chatting, another for calls, another for sharing videos — each with its own account, its own notifications and its own privacy rules. We wanted one place that does all of it well, runs comfortably on affordable phones, and respects a limited data plan.
Modol Connect is designed and maintained from Dhaka, Bangladesh, with the everyday realities of mobile networks here in mind: small install size, careful use of bandwidth, and graceful behaviour when the signal drops.

Community members set the tone of the platform. Everyone agrees to our guidelines at sign-up, reports are reviewed by real people, and repeat abuse leads to removal. A safe space is a product feature, not an afterthought.
